A wonderful woman gave me some advice on how to approach a wheat free diet.
She suggested an initial 30 day process to trial the change. This will remove the instinctive rejection that total change often brings, but will likely change my eating habit long term.
The second suggestion is to list the items to be removed from my diet and follow this with a list of replacement food that I will eat. I am avoiding can and can’t from this post as I have free choice in what I eat. Restriction only places more focus on a food. If it is not on my list of chosen food then it not important to me. (For this sakes reason i am contemplating whether the removal list is required?)
I’ll go with the advice given as my friend has worked through the process of removing dairy from her vegetarian diet. Let’s see how I go.
